Description: This area is in need of several Psychiatrists representing multiple specialties to work in a primarily outpatient care facility which is located next to the hospital. The Adult Psychiatry position requires prior on-the-job experience. The Child Psychiatry position requires fellowship training. The Adolescent/Geriatric Psychiatry position will accept new resident graduates. Call is 1:8 on weekdays and 1:4 on weekends (frequency may decrease as more doctors are hired). The new doctor(s) may opt to carry their own patients and conduct inpatient care for them. Candidates must be board certified/eligible, or must become certified within 2-3 years of residency. A Georgia state license is required and the hospital is willing to wait for the physician to obtain a Georgia license.
