Description: Provide child/adolescent and adult psychiatric services in this excellent facility and earn a great salary starting at $200K. The facility is located in a service area of 250K people and obtains referrals from 22 primary care physicians. The new physician will be providing mostly outpatient care and some inpatient care. A Hospitalist handles patients Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Weekday call (5 pm- 8am) is 1:5; weekend call is every 5th weekend (a screener takes calls and calls the doctor if needed). Candidates should have strong pharmacology skills for a full spectrum case load; fellowship in child psychiatry is a plus! This position requires the physician to be either board certified or board eligible within 5 years of residency. A large therapy group is available to support the physician.
