One of the most respected health care systems in New Mexico is seeking a Neurologist who is interested in permanent, locum tenens to permanent, or long-term locum tenens (six or more months) work. This is an ongoing position which starts on April 2, 2012. The facility is seeking a candidate who is proficient with EEGs, EMGs, lumbar punctures, subdural taps, thrombolytic therapy, and brain death examinations. Board certification/eligibility and BLS certification is required. A physician with training in movement or sleep disorders is preferred. Hours are 8am - 5pm.
