Location: Within 1½ hours of the Eastern seashore, this small Carolina city has an active social and cultural community. It is a major biomedical and financial center for the region. This area has nearby universities, a regional airport, a country club and golf course and a local theater & symphony
Description: BC/BE Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine or ER physician needed to meet expanding needs at a busy outpatient practice in South Carolina. Inpatient is covered by hospitalists, though may be able to do inpatient work also if desired. Call (phone/beeper only) is only once every 6-7 weeks (for 1 week). The facility is new and utilizes an electronic medical record. Good Payor mix, and Medicaid is not accepted in the primary care department. The staff is great to work with and they are looking for someone who will fit in well with the group. You should be able to handle 30 patients per 8 hour day.
Compensation: $175,000/year or 35% of collections, whichever is greater. 401K, 3 weeks vacation, CME, malpractice insurance paid, health, dental and all licensing fees are covered!
