Description: This is a locum tenens opportunity for any active U.S. state licensed physician. It is for U.S. government facilities and the physician must be able to pass a security clearance. Position begins 1/2/2009. The physician will be responsible for the provision of direct medical care, mental health care and infirmary domiciliary (in-patient) care to alien detainees in a clinical setting. Physician MUST be board certified or board eligible (residency within 4 years) and have 2 years experience. ACLS license required. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. or 7 a.m.- 4 p.m., with the opportunity for overtime. On-call is nightly for phone calls only, and physician may have to go in the case of an emergency. Takes 90 days for paperwork to get approved for this long-term locums opportunity.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience.
