Description: A Brand New North Carolina hospital is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in their Cardiac Intermediate Unit! NP/PA will be working with an 8-member team. There are over 100 beds for cardiac patients , surgery & vascular surgery patients. NP/PA is responsible for admissions, discharges, consults, and overall patient management for general medical issues. CIU stay is 24-48 hours. NP/PA MUST HAVE 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE treating inpatient cardiac patients. A North Carolina state medical license is preferred; however the facility will wait for the NP/PA to obtain a license in North Carolina for this opportunity.
