Description: Add to your career profile with this great Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity!  You will have the option of strictly doing Locum Tenens shifts or progressing to a permanent position.  Occupational Medicine experience is required.  The facility will only consider NP/PAs who live in the area and have a Texas state license.  This facility is looking for a Board Certified/ Board Eligible NP/PA who possesses excellent communication skills, organizational skills, time management skills, good judgment, dependability, integrity, professional appearance and demeanor.  You will be supervised by and coordinate care with the primary care physician.  The caseload will consist of doing initial exams, mental status exams and taking medical histories.  Bilingual skills in Spanish a plus and DEA & DPS licenses are preferred but not required. NP/PA will see approximately 25-30 injuries per day and will need suturing experience.
