Description: One Pain Management physician with interventional pain training and/or experience is needed at this South Carolina private practice. The position consists of 100% outpatient pain management with both evaluations and interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections/medial branch blocks, etc. The facility is open to any other procedures that the physician feels comfortable in performing. The physician must be friendly and have good rapport with people, and it is important that the physician be a team player and work well with others. The facility prefers the physician to have specialty experience in the areas of PM&R with a pain fellowship, Neurology with a pain fellowship, or Anesthesia with a pain fellowship. A South Carolina state medical license is preferred; however the facility will wait for the physician to obtain a license in South Carolina for this opportunity. Physician needs to be Board Certified/Board Eligible within 2 years of Residency.
Compensation: Base annual salary is $250,000, guaranteed first year or 35% of collections whichever is higher. (Collections are calculated on all office visits, diagnostic testing, and global component of procedures performed by the physician including facility/fluoroscope time. This allows physician the opportunity to share in the gross amount of services and allows for high income earning potential). Benefits are offered and include health, dental and malpractice insurances, paid vacation 3 weeks first-year and four weeks year two and beyond, and CME 5 days per year with $3500 allowable. Relocation assistance is available as well.
