Description: This northwestern Texas City is seeking a Board Certified PM&R physician to work in a hospital-based private practice. The new physician will admit, workup and provide diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care to patients of all ages with illnesses and injuries that require the care of a PM&R doctor. These duties include: nerve blocks, arthrocentesis, both aspiration and injection, electro diagnosis, musculoskeletal & connective tissue disorders, neurological disorders, peripheral nervous system disorders, post amputation treatments, prescription and evaluation of fit/function of orthotics, prosthetics & adaptive equipment. The new doctor may also be required to cover weekdays/weekends when the current PM&R is out of town. Some call duty is required. This is a locum tenens position for 9.20 to 10.5.10 A Texas license is required. Candidates should be advised that there is a lengthy credentialing process. Compensation is negotiable.
