Description: San Antonio needs a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant right away! The new NP/PA must be able to perform the following tasks: provide medical advice over the telephone, complete required paperwork, perform military physical examinations, utilize paraprofessional staff as appropriate, preliminarily interpret radiographs to include CAT scans, interpret electrocardiograms, respond to cardiopulmonary arrest as appropriate and arrange appropriate backup from the BAMC staff. You will also be required to obtain an adequate history, physical, and assessment on each patient, plan in a timely manner and develop a treatment plan. There is no call responsibility for this position. Candidates must have BLS certification and a valid US state license.
