Description: This area in west Louisiana is seeking an experienced Family Practice physician with excellent written and oral communication skills. The new physician should expect to work 40 hours per week from 8:00AM - 4:30PM with the possibility of extended hours. A permanent physician is preferred but the client is willing to accept a locum tenens physician. Candidates must have 2 years of experience; residency experience will be considered. BLS certification and DEA licensure are required. CMEs must be up to date. ECFMG certification is required for physicians who have attended medical school outside of the U.S. Any state license is accepted!
Compensation: This position offers a salary commensurate with experience as well as an excellent benefits package for permanent employees which includes: medical, dental, malpractice insurance, 401K, 10 days of paid vacation, 10 paid holidays, 10 days of paid sick time, and a $2000 annual CME allowance.
