Description: Dallas is in need of a full-time Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Heart Failure. The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnosis and treatment of patients with potential or actual cardiovascular health needs. Candidates applying for this position should possess the following qualifications: completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, a Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis in acute care of patients with cardiovascular diseases, certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, and current certification in CPR and ACLS. Critical Care experience and a minimum of two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner are preferred. Candidates should also possess effective leadership, teaching, research, and communication skills, and must be able to demonstrate complex clinical skills within the framework of the Nurse Practitioner education and guidelines.
