Description: A Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in neurosciences is needed to work in an excellent facility in North Carolina. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an established health care system, which provides quality and comprehensive health care services to over one million people in the region. The new practitioner’s responsibilities will include assisting with admission work-ups/consults, initiating, monitoring, and altering treatments, performing diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, and providing patient education concerning treatments and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures. Candidates wishing to be considered for this position must have graduated from a Board-approved NP/PA Program and must possess current NC Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure. National Board Certification as an NP/PA is required. In addition, candidates must have accumulated two to three years of prior experience in a health care setting or have at least two years of clinical experience in an acute care setting with direct patient care.
