Description: A Hospitalist is needed to fill the position of Hospitalist Director for five facilities in the San Antonio area! The director will work directly with the vice president of physician services on clinical issues and will direct multiple hospitalist facilities by working with leadership personnel (directing operations, finances, peer reviews, utilization management, quality, and customer services issues). The physician must have prior experience with the following: fiscal matters, budgets, infrastructure, clinical protocols, development & implementation tools in management, and care management programs & outcome measurement assessments. The physician will be required to work 1 to 2 shifts occasionally and to orient over 40 physicians at 5 facilities.
