Description: One Radiation Oncologist is needed to fill an academic/clinical practice position in this successful North Carolina facility. The facility is seeking full-time doctors to join its excellent cancer team, which is composed of four radiation oncology physicians, four dosimetrists, five medical physicists, twelve radiation therapists, and one physician assistant. The department also includes a radiation biology section and has an average of 70 patients who are undergoing treatment. Call is one week per month. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible (within three years of residency) and should be licensed in North Carolina or the hospital is willing to wait 3-4 months for the physician to obtain a North Carolina license.
