Description: An inpatient Adult/Geriatric Psychiatrist is needed to fill a locum tenens position from 10/14/2010-10/18/2010. The Psychiatrist’s weekday responsibilities will include back-up evening call (phone call only), inpatient consults, shared coverage of inpatient units, and Friday night call. A Nurse Practitioner will be on first call during the weekends. The facility has a daily census of 7 patients for geriatric psychiatry and 17 patients for adult psychiatry. Candidates must possess a North Carolina license and must be either board certified or board eligible residents waiting to take the board exam.
