Description: This popular town is in need of a Bariatric Surgeon to assist in the development of a new specialty department. Call is 10 days per month. The facility prefers a physician with experience and the position requires general surgery and bariatric training. Fellowship training is a plus! Candidates must be either board certified or board eligible residents waiting to become board certified.
Compensation: This may be an income guarantee or an employed position. Healthcare, dental, vision, 401K, CME (with 5 days of paid time off), and malpractice insurance are offered for an employed position. For an income guarantee position, all benefits will be factored into the contract with the physician according to his/her need. This position also offers a relocation package, an education stipend, student loan repayment assistance, and $17K for practice management assistance.
